All our mountain bike suspension frames use sealed-cartridge bearings and are made from US made ALCOA 6061 aluminum tubing and Easton Manipulated Tubing. Select Foes bike frames come with International Standard disc brake mounts and other models use floating brake design only.

The DHS Mono is designed to use 8 inch rotors and forego standard adapters. The 05 Fly and Inferno mountain bike models are floating brake optional. All Foes suspension bike frames utilize a triangulated single pivot swing arm with an oversized sealed aircraft bearing which allows for some of the stiffest frames around. In use with Curnutt XTD technology Foes bikes build some of the strongest frames you can buy.

Foes Racing was one of the first bike companies to use Swing Link on almost all its monutian bike frames. For 05 each frameset uses Swing Link to eliminate unwanted flex between swingarm and main frame parts. Each Swing Link is made from billet aluminum and supplied with cartridge bearings for longer life and the stiffest joints available.

Foes raing bikes was also one of the first cycle organizations to understand and use the benefits of floating brake calipers. Designed with the main pivot location in mind - the floating brake lets the suspension act without being affected by braking. Foes believe all mountain bikes with more than six inch travel are best using floating brake mounts neutralizing the effect of the brakes on the suspension. This allows the rider for example to ride the rear brake softly through a high-speed bump filled turn whilst keeping traction allowing the suspension to act independantly regardless of the amount of braking.
